Controller tests
Check every button, trigger and stick of your Xbox, PlayStation, Switch or PC controller, right in your browser.
- Controller tester Plug in your gamepad, press a button, and watch every input live. Works with Xbox, PlayStation, Switch Pro and most PC controllers. Live
- Stick drift test Let go of both sticks for 5 seconds. The test measures how far they wander at rest and gives you a clear verdict. 5 s
- Xbox controller tester Connect your Xbox controller over USB, Bluetooth or the wireless adapter, press a button and watch the diagram light up input by input. Live
- PS5 controller tester Plug in your DualSense with a USB-C cable or pair it over Bluetooth, press a button and watch every input light up on the diagram. Live
- PS4 controller tester Connect your DualShock 4 with a micro-USB cable or Bluetooth, press a button and watch every input on the diagram. Live
- Joystick tester Rotate each stick against its edge: the test draws its real range, finds the weakest direction and lists every axis and button your device sends. 360°
- Vibration test Run each rumble motor on its own, at the intensity and rhythm you choose, to find a dead or weak motor in a few seconds. 2 motors
Start with the controller tester: press every button and pull both triggers to the end. A button that never lights up or a trigger stuck below 1.00 points to worn contacts.
If your character or camera moves on its own, run the stick drift test with the controller on a table. It gives you the exact in-game deadzone that hides the drift, and tells you when it is time to clean or replace the stick.
The Xbox, PS5 and PS4 pages use the diagram of that controller, the joystick test draws the real range of each stick, and the vibration test drives each motor separately.
